Sources for every fact

Each factual claim links to a source we opened and read, with the date. If a claim cannot be traced to a source, it is left out. Prices are quoted as the vendor publishes them on the date we read them, and promotions are labelled as promotions.

Vendor claims are labelled

Results a vendor reports about its own customers are marked as vendor-reported. Example figures on product pages, such as the activity shown on a demonstration card, are not presented as results.

The same rules for every product

Each product is described with its strengths, its limits and the buyers it suits, and each profile names the situations in which another product is the better choice. This applies equally to OpenLazarus, the product made by this publication's owner.

No paid placement

No vendor pays to be included, ranked or described. There are no affiliate links.

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help gather and draft material. Every claim is checked against its cited source before publication.

Corrections

If something is wrong or out of date, let us know. Verified errors are fixed promptly, the page's date is updated and the change is logged.
